Apprently there is a group of Masters Swimmers in NY. They do a
100 Yard X 100 times swim. I take it that this is 100 repeats of
100 yards. What is the repeat time? Every 2 min. 3 min? Think
this workout is super for long distance training.
Different groups will do it differently. I think the prototypical hundred hundreds is 100 x 100 on a 100s interval, or "one hundred hundreds on a hundred".
When I did it a couple times with the NASA group at Northwestern they swam on a 1:30 interval. That was generally too fast for me, so I'd mostly do 75s, every now and then doing a few 100s.
