UT has fired JT today, after 23 years of leading the Vols. The AD gave the reason as "gross misconduct."

The AD would really have some chutzpah if he welcomed JT into his office and greeted him with, "It's a beautiful day!" And then proceed to tell him he is fired effective immediately...:bolt:
The Knoxville paper reported that the AD sent him a letter to inform him of the firing. Wonder if he used that as his closiing lines?
