Get stronger, I think butterfly sprinting responds better to strength gains than other strokes. (And I still think of 100 fly as mostly a sprint.)
Work on your dolphin kick a lot. Work on your underwater streamline. Figure out the optimum number of kicks to take off the walls.
As dryland exercise, I think cords are virtually worthless: there are far more productive ways of spending precious training time. In the water I think they can be useful (both swimming against and swimming with the resistance).
