Natalie COUGHLIN broke the 100 SCY FREE AMERICAN RECORD on
Sun 12/4/2011 at the Georgia Fall Invitational
46.84 broke her own record from 2007 by 1/100th

Kate Ledecky, 14 of Curl-Burke, broke 2 13-14 NAG yards records at the
5th Annual National Age Group Team Challenge held at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center Nov 12-13.
She broke a 33-year-old record in the 500 freestyle 4:35.14 held by Sippy Woodhead from 1978 4:39.94
Then she went 9:29.81 in the 1,000 free breaking Michelle Richardson's 9:33.39, from 1984
Katie has OT cuts in the 100, 200, 400 and 800 free & will definitely be one to watch at trials.

Jack Conger's 4:13.87 broke Jeff Kostoff's 30 year old 4:16.39 High School record in the 500 free.

In the same meet, sophomore Katie Ledecky went 4:33.14 to set another High School standard in the 500.
Wow. Kids these days. 4:33.14 was her prelim time. In finals she went 4:31.38. Words fail me.

King Aquatic Club’s Ethan Dang broke the 10 & under short course 100 breaststroke mark this past weekend at the annual KING Valentine’s Meet in Federal Way, Washington with a 1:07.25 in the 100 yard breaststroke. That broke Michael Andrew’s 2010 swim of 1:08.53 – crushed it in fact – by over a second. He also holds the long course record for the age group.
He also swam a 1:02.35 in the 100 IM! Yes, you read that right, he's ten years old. :)

Quite a few para-swimming World Records have been broken in the last few months.
The most recent:
Maddison Elliott (AUS, age 14), broke the S8 50m free WR at our National Age Championships a fortnight ago, then broke it again at National Open on Saturday. 30.28
