This year has been the first year of my three swimming so far that I've kept a log of my yardage. I didn't realize it at the time, but in doing the math this late night/early morning, I crossed 1,000,000 yards on Wednesday, November 16th. It happened sometime during my early morning workout at Santa Clara Swim Club, probably at the exact same moment I was resting at the wall and the flying hand of the hapless lady I shared a lane with whacked my nose! My nose was sore for the rest of the day.

I wanted to swim today, but none of my usual places were open. Santa Clara Swim Club, closed! San Jose State Aquatics Center, closed! The community centers near me, closed! Pisses me off. :bitching:
Should have driven up to Oakland and joined the Manatees at HNU. We had 8 swimmers at 8am and 9 at 9am (what a coincidence!). Plenty of space for you to have joined us.
