This year has been the first year of my three swimming so far that I've kept a log of my yardage. I didn't realize it at the time, but in doing the math this late night/early morning, I crossed 1,000,000 yards on Wednesday, November 16th. It happened sometime during my early morning workout at Santa Clara Swim Club, probably at the exact same moment I was resting at the wall and the flying hand of the hapless lady I shared a lane with whacked my nose! My nose was sore for the rest of the day.

Thanks for pointing out the FLOG! I entered Go the Distance and inputted my yardage from all year. You can check out my pretty awesome November here. :) I did almost 60,000 yards this week, including four doubles and a triple! Additionally, I have a two-day meet this weekend and I'm putting up in-season best times. Not bad for coming right off the most grueling week of the year.
