Some of you may remember a newbie to these forums from several years back, Couroboros, an intriguing user name that, if memory serves me, refers to a creature chasing him own tail. Mr. Couroboros thought this aptly metaphorical for pool swimming, where one goes back and forth endlessly above a black line.
At the time, he was overweight and a total neophyte to swimming. He asked for, and received, no shortage of advice from many generous and encouraging members of this forum. Now, three years later, he has written about his new sport in a great short essay here:

Cool drop down from 240 to 165lbs in 3 years. You look awesome! I wonder if you trained your abs additionally or you just swam?
I made a come back a year and a half ago after 25 years without swimming and 15 years without sports (If not to count "Beerball" :D ). My drop down wasn't so impressing - just from 214 to 187lbs, but I continue work on my body to achieve my target weight (175lbs) :bouncing: :bliss::banana:
