hello guys is there anybody here that knows a lot about the shoulder driven freestyle?. when you swim it are you suppose to make your hip rotate, or have it stabilized? and when you pull is it better to pull underwater with a high elbow, or almost straight but slightly bent pull(‪FINAL 50 livre Masculino - Beijing 2008‬ - YouTube 3:00-3:12)

Everything depends on anatomic and physical parameters and distance specialization of every single swimmer. Shoulder driven, hips driven, front quadrant - you should find out which one is better for you counting your specialization. That's why it's better not to copy blindly other swimmers.
