  • Some day in the future in a land far, far away, the database will be official and TT will get pulled directly from the rankings database. But not all meets are automated so as of now the Event Rankings database should be treated as FYI only. Splits from nationals do not get added to the results database as individual (standalone) events and I am not sure when that would happen. But the bigger problem is that not everyone uploads their meet results. Even when we get 100% participation, I'm not sure it will ever be an exact match between the two lists ("current rankings" and "top ten") because the results database will, I believe, always have times that are ineligible for inclusion in the TT (eg, from meets conducted in pools that are too short...these can still be sanctioned but the times cannot be submitted for TT consideration). It should be pretty close, though. Often it takes more work to process a split request than an entire meet - that's why I get grumpy sometimes when the subject comes up. :worms: You should like the new web tools, then... :)
