Women need to refuse to sign up for masters swimming membership next year. If no women swim at meets, Caldas will have to swim with the men or swim alone. Women need to come together & make a stand. I know it’s a sacrifice because swim meets are fun & rewarding but if we don’t, nothing will change. 

We don’t want to keep anyone from swimming, so the only fair way forward is separate categories. If you weren’t born a female (XX), then you NEVER get to compete in the female category. 

Swimmers who identify as transgender are not required to provide documentation on eligibility to participate. Those striving to achieve official forms of recognition are strongly encouraged to submit a pre-event eligibility request

Nobody has to provide advance proof of sex (or age) to register for USMS or to enter events. Proof, whether of being trans and eligible or of not being trans, is necessary only if an eligibility protest occurs.

Who would volunteer to run a meet or open water event if sanctioning required the race director to verify every entrant's sex? Who would enter a meet or open water event if entry requirements included submitting sensitive personal medical information?
