I am now seeing why each age group has slower Q times than , when younger, seemed so easy to get.
At the top end of each age I seem to be slowing down faster that I thought I would!!
Yes, I find it very frustrating
Spring Nationals in San Antonio, April 23-26, 2020 ???? are these the correct dates? I thought it was at the start of May?
Yes, Oz, those are the correct dates. April 23-26.
OK crunch time with this being the last week to sign up for spring nationals. I am not as quick as 2 years back or last year but, can still make 2 Q times, How do I reconcile going if I feel as if I can't make the Q times I should stay home? I know that at the top of my age group I should expect this but, I feel poorly for not being faster = self doubt.
It's not the last week. You still have a month. If you make 2 Q times, I believe, you can swim up to 5 events, the 2 you qualify for and 3 non-qualifiers. Sounds like a full plate to me. Sign up and go swim fast.

Yes, Jeff, that's true. Three events "free" plus any that you make the Q time in...up to six events total.
March 2 is the discounted deadline ($55) plus event fees; March 23 is the final deadline ($65) plus event fees.
