  • Montreal will be about the same in terms of the amount of days for the meet. You don't have to be there for all 8 days either. Even if it means only swimming one or two of your "favorite" events, and then swimming a couple of other 2nd choice type events. A good 2 or 3 days, and you can get a full schedule of racing in. Since it'll have 300 heats (not really) per event you'll have plenty of rest time between races. Ahhh, but you miss the point, my friend. :agree: (Of course, I didn't make my point exactly clear about Montreal now, did ? :D ) Montreal and Quebec City are on my bucket list; I have been wanting to travel there, even before I knew about Worlds. We plan on spending two weeks up there, traveling around after Worlds. Florida, in summertime, doesn't rock my boat. The rest time between races is precisely why it will be a BAD situation for me; too much waiting around in the heat. In April, I raced in 4 individual events and 2 relays in a very short time; I'm getting used to that. And, I prefer it. It's the waiting in the heat that killed me in Mesa, at Nationals! So, I want to avoid that scenario again. In Montreal, the average temps. are definitely much cooler...
