This was exactly my guess in the Championship Committee contest. I now suspect it was low because I just found out that 493 entries are from NC Masters (we just got an email about relays). Considering there are 1243 members currently registered in the LMSC, that's a pretty high "in house" participation rate (about 40%) for nationals.
NEM is sending 58 which is higher than the 40+ that went to Mesa.
I know the number. It's big, probably because NC is bringing it, as Chris stated.
That's what I'm talkin about. They'll rue the day they mocked my entry!
