What's going on with the Gold Medal Sponsorship for Spring Nationals? Last spring it was $75. This year it is $175. I don't understand why it would go up so much. I am having a hard time imagining what could be worth that much.
Rob, I think the reason people are still asking here is because Hill started a thread about the cost of the sponsorship and completely ignored the bulk of the questions in the thread (the outside food/drink). It's really not that outrageous to assume Hill would come back to answer that question, is it?
No, there should be clarification well in advance of the meet. We are not watching a sporting event or attending a convention. We are actual athletes. I think it would be per se unreasonable to not permit us to bring in personalized food/race nutrition. If I had to subsist on the GMS food from Auburn, I would've passed out from starvation or malnutrition.
I will likely fork over the $$$ for convenience and lunch. But I still plan to bring some of my "race food."
