LC Nats qualifying times

Is it allowed to use converted times for entering long course nationals? Long course meets are few and far between but I have plenty of short course times that when converted are well below the qualifying times for long course nationals. I would like to be able to swim six events so I actually need times in at least three. As another option how long is it before times expire? Can I use times from 2006 worlds for 2008 nationals? Thanks

  • Wow, seems that LCM NQTs are pretty lax compared to SCYs. I'm right at NQTs for SCY in several events but when I convert my times to LCM, I'm under by about a 1.5sec/50. Is LCM just not as well attended as SCY? Paul
