I am in Chicago and during nationals, Chicago will be on Central Daylight Savings Time. I know Indianapolis is a little quirky. Anybody definitively know what time zone Indianapolis will be during the meet? Is it Eastern Daylight Savings, or Eastern Standard? In other words, is it the same time as Chicago, or an hour ahead. Thanks.
Hi, Jeff,
Indianapolis stays on Eastern Standard Time, so when Chicago (and the rest of Illinois) changes to Central Daylight Savings time on April 4th, our clocks will be set as the same time as in Indianapolis. Therefore, for Nationals April 22-25, no changing of the clock will be necessary.
Mary
I think Indy is one hour BEHIND Michigan. Same as Chicago time.
Hi Corrin, do you remember me? I swam at MSU from 1988-1992. I'll be at Indy so hope to see you there.
Thanks Kirk, Yes I remember you! Hey Steve Bargwell is coming and at the mi state meet Lisenby came out of retirement. I will be there in the *** and im and 100 free for fun. Where are you now? Thanks for the time info.
I live in Seattle now. I knew Steve was going, since we're sharing a hotel room! I'll have to work on getting Lisenby to go to Nationals next year. I guess they're going to be in Fort Lauderdale.
Todd Mercer will be swimming and Kevin Zielinski is supposed to come down to watch, but he's not swimming.
