Challenging sets

Ladders are the way to practice, without getting boring, especially as you age up. Consider 5 sec. rest per 50 yds/meters, 10 sec. per 75, a maximum 15 sec. rest per 100 and longer sets. The sets/ladders can be done IM style, any stroke or combination of strokes. It will challenge you mentally and physically, regardless the workout yardage. It will increase your stamina, technique concentration as you try to decrease your time per distance. As you get deeper into your workout/yardage, if you cannot decrease your time per distance, hold your time. Try it, you may like it! Coach, Bob Patterson
