I'm just getting back into swimming and have an event at the end of this month, I am also try to lose weight. I'm thinking of doing the following schedule from now on::
Monday
"Rest Day"
Weight Training (our pool is closed monday's)
Yoga
Tuesday
Early Morning speed swims
Wednesday
Weight Training
Evening long swim (2000+ meters), working on technique and breathing
Thursday
Early Morning speed swims
Friday
Weight Training
Evening long swim (2000+ meters), working on technique and breathing
Saturday/Sunday
some time during these days I will get in about 1000-3000 meter swims
Do you this is to much or should I be training harder? Thank for all of your input on this.
