Clovis will be my first Master's Nationals. I started swimming (again) in October. After a much needed 16 year break, 2 kids and extra "skin" on my body, I dove back in and now I'm hooked.
4/23/09- the water was HOT. About 83 degrees???

300 kick with fins

8 x 25 odd *** 1 breath, even free no breath on :40
main set:
200 *** at 80% (I went a 2:42)
200 easy free
4 X of 100 *** on 2:00, 4 x 25 easy on :40
All 100's I went a 1:17. I had to get my times. no coach
200 easy
friend on deck now to get my times
4 x 50 *** on 3:00. 37.2, 36.2, 36.1, 36.1 (50 easy in between)
100 easy
3 x 25 *** on 3:00. 15.1, 14.6, 14.4
200 easy
Not bad considering I just swam the 50, 100 and 200 *** at Y nats + 2 relays. I didn't taper for Y Nats, I will for SMS nats.
Monday I swam 3600 yards and lifted, tues off, Wed I swam 4500 and lifted and then this was today.
