Rather than start yet another post on tapering I was hoping that someof you more savvy posters might direct me to threads that have been started on this.....thanks:fish2:

I did the same thing - searched on posts with taper in the subject.
Here is what I'm doing starting now (2 weeks out)
stop lifting weights
reduce yardage, but with more sprints with a lot of rest
the last couple workouts before the meet I plan to stay 30 minutes or then get out
