I prefer following the coach’s workouts or when I’m swimming on my own I use the workouts posted by Chris, Ellen and Chuck on this forum.

I don't use it for every workoout but I do use it regularly. One of their wourkouts for last JUne I love. It is one of the best workouts I've ever done. When I started I had to ask for lower, les demanding workouts. Now though I am doing harder ones. I have found that 2 things happen 1. either the yards increase (actually meters) or 2. the work done in the workouot is harder but you have to do it inthe same amount of time.

Swim Plan is excellent for the people without coaches and need a little guidance. They are very simple to follow and I recommend them for anyone who does not want to pay for help. I do all my own planning and do my own stroke reviews by videoing my stroke. Then I put it into my Dart Swim program and analyze the videos. www.dartswim.com/.../DesktopDefault.aspx

Yeah, I will rejoin the Masters team once I am back swimming regularly. Just using Swim Plan at the moment to get back into it. I used to write my own workouts, but they tend to be really long and challenging, and I am just not back there yet.
