Last year I decided to give the 10K a try for the first time and didn't do so hot. This year I want to be sure that I am really ready but at best i have only a vague idea what I'm doing. I've been doing sets of 100's on 1:30 to improve my pace, one weekly long swim to get in the yards and a variety of 200's, 300's 500's to round things out.
Any advice from experienced 10K swimmers?
