so I am a rather enthusiastic swimmer and have been working out on my own. Lots harder than I thought. I am a distance swimmer/Im/breaststroker by trade and am trying to make my own workouts.
My question is what is the difference between the following. I hold about a 1:21 for 100 free
10x100 on 1:30 then I do 10x100 on 2:00 and finally the 3rd way I do the set is a pyramid doing 4x100 on 1:50 3x100 on 1:40 2x100 on 1:30 and
1x100 on 1:20
my ultimate goal is trying to bring down my average 100 that I swim during a mile. I have NO fast twitch to speak of and am trying to bulid a little. I am also realizing for the 1st time how valuable a coach on deck REALLY is...too hard for me to think and swim.:rolleyes:
