I recently decide to get back in the water for fitness and to begin training to compete at the master's level. Just looking for some suggestions on workouts. I was really interested in one that someone said they found on the internet about "Couch Potato to Mile Swimmer in 6 weeks". Does anyone know where I can find that. I have been teaching swim lessons and coaching a non-competive swimming league for kids but haven't really been focusing on me and getting back into the shape that I really need to be in to compete at the level I want.

Congrats for trying to get back in shape - at any stage in life, that's a tough but very rewarding decision. Here's the link to the mile in 6 weeks:

There's several boards on the forum where Master's coaches post their workouts every week. You may want to try one of those, doing however much of it you can, even if you can only do half or a quarter or less to start.
