Hi all,
I'm new to the boards, and will be participating in my first Master's swim practice tomorrow morning at Pearl Harbor. The question is - what can I expect? Scuba diving and snorkeling have made me a decent swimmer, but I have no knowledge of stroke technique, drills, etc. I'm just hoping that I'm not the only one there who's completely clueless. I'd really like to turn this in to a main workout, along with running. Anyway, I look forward to looking through all the info posted here in the coming days.

The only help you may get from snorkeling and scuba diving is leg strength and breathing control.
It's Fun !! Stick to it and try to get feedback on stroke technique as this is very important.
Pace yourself, you'll do fine.
