dryland strengthening

Hello All... I am currently training for a meet coming in March. I have pulling double swims, and also weight traning. Does anyone know of any good dryland workouts that will strenghten the muscles used in swimming? Thanks

    Many Y's offer fitness classes. If you belong to a Y, then I suggest "body pump" as a class. It's done with body bars and a step, but it works your quads, hamstrings, shoulders, biceps and triceps. It is definitely a strengthening class and it's fun as well. That, as well as doing some ab work (paricularly on your obliques) a couple of times a week ought to put you at least in the correct lane for dryland strengthening.
