Due to a shoulder problem, I can't do breaststroke of butterfly for 3 weeks (at least). So I was wondering if anyone had any good free and back only workouts that I could do, otherwise workouts can get pretty boring. Thanx for all your help!! ~Kyra

I agree that the sit drill would most definately aggrevate your shoulder. I am a backstroker and I don't like to do that drill too often. You can do a drill with your arms at your sides keeping your head still and just rotating your shoulder so they are in the line of sight and doing six kicks on one side, six on the other. Also you can get a cup put it on your head and try and swim a lap without it falling over--this one is very tricky and took me a long time to get it right. There are so many back drills I could tell you, but I would be here forever. There is a great video with Jeff Rouse in it for some drills and it really helps.
