Hi,
I am just starting up with USMS and I don't have a lot of time to get in the pool. What are other ways of getting back in shape. Do I need to run a certin amount or lift weights. I am just not sure of what to do. I am in the military. The Navy to be exact. I spend a lot of time on ship and out to sea. Just looking for ways to keep the swimming up without being in the water. Are there any suggestions?

Lifting weights is a great addition. But the best way to condition for swimming, in my experience, is swimming. Practice, practice, practice... What are your goals?
