advice on kicking

Hello, I need some advice on how to improve my kicking. I am not a fast kicker so I mostly rely on my arms to get me through the water. I am a long distance swimmer and have no problem with endurance but I wish there was something I could do to make sure I am kicking enough to make a difference in my time. I currently swim a mile in about 25 min. I want to shorten this time. Any sugestions? Thanks!:)

    I wish I could help you there! One of the biggest problems with my freestyle is that I have wicked leg crossover unless I am sprinting. Trying to keep bottom half straight enough for proper kicking during training feels extremely awkward. I guess that's why I never swam distance :)
