I start Life guard trainning in a few weeks. Do you have any advice on what workouts i could do to be better prepared? I only have access to a pool about once a week so are there any dryland workouts that will help?

It is important to note, if your instructor is really picky, that the elementary backstroke kick is a scissor kick.
Its like the *** stroke kick except your legs have to stay paralell to the surface. If you were to do the *** stroke kick on your side you would kick the victim.
