So we have a "swim rant" thread, but I wanted to post my "swim happy" moment today, probably brought on by being out of the water for over a week.
Pool reopened after maintenance + clear, fresh perfect temp water + 6 lap lanes between 4 lap swimmers = 4200yd :bliss:
My wife got her mesh bag and the postal worker had practically no bite marks,but she was wearing a bear claw necklace.Maybe James can get his mail now.I haven't earned my bag yet.
My 800 split has made the provisional LCM TT listing.....just :banana:
Now nobody go and find a faster time in my age group
Wait - nevermind it'll be a long search, there's only about 25 of us in the whole country that compete :bolt:
I'm at 400+ miles...haven't got a mesh bag yet. Hmmmmmm...favoritism to the east coasters??? :D
I doubt it. I'm ahead of Elaine by a few miles, haven't gotten my bag yet, and I'm on the east coast, so maybe favoritism to Dixie Zone folks? ;)
Or maybe *that* is the package my idiot apartment complex folks lost last week. Grrr if it is, because my 11 year old mesh bag is most definitely on its last legs right now...

Yay! so how long was the wait? I'm hoping mine gets here by Christmas.
As for my "swim happy" - I reached my GTD goal for the year this week, so revised it up by about 40 miles :doh:
My Swim Happy for yesterday: PB in my 100 SCM breaststroke race (converting SCM to SCY). One more second and I'll make NQT's for Spring Nationals.
