So we have a "swim rant" thread, but I wanted to post my "swim happy" moment today, probably brought on by being out of the water for over a week.
Pool reopened after maintenance + clear, fresh perfect temp water + 6 lap lanes between 4 lap swimmers = 4200yd :bliss:
I for one am hoping to have improved a bit since last summer. I was swimming with a tri club on a half-mile lake course, doing two loops, but not coming all the way back to shore between loops, so it was a bit short of a full mile. I just barely undershot an hour each week. Lately though, in a 25y pool I'm doing 2000 yds in about 57 minutes. (Age 71 this year.)
