So we have a "swim rant" thread, but I wanted to post my "swim happy" moment today, probably brought on by being out of the water for over a week.
Pool reopened after maintenance + clear, fresh perfect temp water + 6 lap lanes between 4 lap swimmers = 4200yd :bliss:
Awww, thanks, King Frog! Hey, off the subject, how is your shoulder recovering from surgery? I hope you have a "happy" to report, even if it isn't a "swim happy." :agree:
Surgery evidently successful. One more week in the sling hopefully. I'm OKd to get in the pool after the sling is off as long as I don't move that arm. No full stroke for 6 months after the surgery. Hopefully I'll be ready to swim at the December meet, but full strength is unlikely before next May(or hopefully next late April at Mesa.)
