Swim happy

So we have a "swim rant" thread, but I wanted to post my "swim happy" moment today, probably brought on by being out of the water for over a week. Pool reopened after maintenance + clear, fresh perfect temp water + 6 lap lanes between 4 lap swimmers = 4200yd :bliss:

  • Swimosaur, YOUR post makes me happy! My recent swim happy is that I am finally back up to ~5000 per practice again. And I'm getting my speed back. It's been a rough year, but I'm on my way back! Hey Celestial, that's great! Way to go!! It looks as if we have switched places. On the 19th, I am having an arthrogram MRI done on my hip. Hopefully, I won't need surgery; I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Meanwhile, I'm operating on three cylinders, since I can't do much in the way of kicking with my right leg. Breaststroke kicking is completing out of the question. At least I can still swim! Just don't look for me to "race" at Dixie Zone SCM Championships. I'll be swimming my races, not racing them. (If I must have surgery, it will be scheduled for after December 14th!)
