So we have a "swim rant" thread, but I wanted to post my "swim happy" moment today, probably brought on by being out of the water for over a week.
Pool reopened after maintenance + clear, fresh perfect temp water + 6 lap lanes between 4 lap swimmers = 4200yd :bliss:
Great meeting you at MD, Elaine, but sorry it happened at your sad moment there! Congrats on the time and the medal. You have worked hard and supported everyone else and deserve some good fortune. Unfortunately, we had to leave about 9:45 this morning and I missed your swim.

I'm sorry our meeting was so brief! I tried to find you later, but it never worked out for me to be there during your races.
As it turned out, the DQ was overturned, and I medaled in the 400 IM and 200 breaststroke. As the week went on and I recovered from Worlds (and all the sightseeing!), things improved. I was happy to end the meet on my highest note ever!
I see you are from North Carolina. Short course Nationals will be back in Greensboro in 2016, so I am sure we'll meet again there!
