Swim happy

So we have a "swim rant" thread, but I wanted to post my "swim happy" moment today, probably brought on by being out of the water for over a week. Pool reopened after maintenance + clear, fresh perfect temp water + 6 lap lanes between 4 lap swimmers = 4200yd :bliss:

  • Happy for you. You should not train in a tight swim suit maybe it was too stretched. I always suggest you wear a properly sized suit for training and race in one or two sizes down. Actually, I didn't buy it for training; I bought it for racing at local meets! But, it felt too large for racing; more like the 36 I usually wear for training. When I first tried it on, it felt larger than a size 36 Speedo Endurance. So, I put it to use as a training suit, instead. I never train in tight suits; my shoulders can't stand it! If anything, I train in suits too large, because of my shoulder issues.
