Southern California fires

We have many swimming friends in SoCal affected or potentially affected by the fires. I had my own simi-close call in OR in 2020 (small fire that got within 2 miles of home and large fire 15 mi away) I have a little idea of how awful it can be. You are in my heart and I am wishing the best for you. I hope everyone comes out OK.

  • THANKS - we were in total meltdown for almost 2 days not knowing - by some miracle our house made it through - will take a while to get back to it - but I feel sooooo sad for so many people who lost theirs. Lived in Palisades for over 20 years - unreal to see this ... swimming will be my therapy for sure.

    Erik, my heart goes out to you and your community.  Allen, thanks for posting this.  

    I grew up in Long Beach, and I have family and friends that live near a couple of the fires up in L.A.  It is so heartbreaking to see what is happening, and extremely infuriating to see how it is being politicized...
