Is a swimmer allowed to swim for both a masters program and a College Club Swimming team at the same time? Can they attend meets for both programs? Doe either of these have any affect on NCAA eligibility? Thank you

  • Do college club swimming students also need to pay USMS fees to compete in USMS meets? Yes. However, College Club Swimming is different that college varsity swimming. College clubs (debate, chess, swimming, …) are typically run through the recreation department while varsity sports (football, basketball, swimming,…) are run through the athletic department. The University of Tampa has an NCAA Division II varsity swim team and not a college club swim team. For information on the specifics on the swim team, contact the coach or athletic department. Contact information should be on their website.
