There is a method, which is referred to as the Rushall method which Michael Andrew uses.
Was wondering if you had any critique about this. If this sort of training is a good idea and what are the problems.
Would this also be good for longer events? Like the 400 IM?
Thanks!

Mikey, why are you being so hostile about usrpt? No one is requiring you to use this school of thought. Glenn has had success with this method. Right now, so has Michael Andrews. No one can say for certain what will happen to him in 2 years, 5 years, or longer in regards to his development.
He and his family feel this is the best route for him. Why does it matter to the rest of us? If other coaches want to start training this method, that is their decision. No one knows for certain that this won't be the future of swimming.
Why would people want to train today like they did 40 years ago or even 20 years ago. Training methods evolve as people look at sports differently. I don't get the hostility towards people like Glenn that are using usrpt. He believes in this method, he is sharing his beliefs, and he hasn't been hostile toward other people's beliefs.
