coachsci.sdsu.edu/.../ultra40a.pdf There is a method, which is referred to as the Rushall method which Michael Andrew uses. Was wondering if you had any critique about this. If this sort of training is a good idea and what are the problems. Would this also be good for longer events? Like the 400 IM? Thanks!

  • Dr. Rushall is opposed to doing IM sets. So, other than turn work, he rejects the idea of doing IM sets if you are an IMer. By the way, Michael Andrew's only 13-14 LC NAG in a 100 or 200 happens to be the 200IM. He doesn't want you to do different strokes within a set i.e. swimming IM, but he suggests doing backstroke or fly or *** sets.
