coachsci.sdsu.edu/.../ultra40a.pdf There is a method, which is referred to as the Rushall method which Michael Andrew uses. Was wondering if you had any critique about this. If this sort of training is a good idea and what are the problems. Would this also be good for longer events? Like the 400 IM? Thanks!

  • Thanks. That is what I've been doing to practice turns. At a 7.8m width portion of the pool I just push off, take a 3/4 stroke cycle of free, turn, and DK UW back to wall. I have tried it on 0:15 which would likely be true UST, but I die after 1 minutes from lack of air and form disintegration. But yes, like thatit hurts exceptionally well.
