There is a method, which is referred to as the Rushall method which Michael Andrew uses.
Was wondering if you had any critique about this. If this sort of training is a good idea and what are the problems.
Would this also be good for longer events? Like the 400 IM?
Thanks!

Rushall does not specifically say that weight training or dryland is useless for Masters swimmers. In fact here is a link to a study he uses to say that we DO need strength training.coachsci.sdsu.edu/.../hartley.htm
Now, here is a study by Zamparo that says the decline in speed as we age is due to other factors www.swimmingscience.net/.../brief-swimming-review-volume-1-edition-7.html
I sometimes feel that USRP is like dryland. It makes one stronger and more muscular.
