Looking for a good, affordable open-water GPS tracker. I see nice outputs by Apple watches and expensive Garmin watches, but I wasn't looking to spend $300+. Does anyone have recommendations for a GPS water-proof swim tracker that's a bit more economically priced?
I wear a Garmin Forerunner 15 (cost me about $75) in the back of my cap. Upside: cheap and accurate. Downside: no bluetooth, and there's always a bit of nervousness as to whether I pushed the button to start as I begin a swim.
I'm using an old Garmin 310xt under my cap. Same issue, did I push the button? So far so good. Can probably get one cheap now that it is many generations old.

My newly-bought parallel-imported Garmin Forerunner 735XT does not cost $300+. I bought it at about $270 before a few % rebate from my credit card bonus programme.
Hi. Find a Garmin 920XT. They are by far the most accurate open water swim watch I've used. They are a few years old so you can often find a good deal on them.
