Now's your chance! The USMS Open Water Sprint National Championship is June 9, but the deadline to enter is May 26. Unfortunately, registration is still low. You become an All-American by winning your event, even if you're the only one. You're still an All-American.
This promises to be an an excellent event. It's in the middle of the country. In fact, the area was in the middle of last year's solar eclipse, and will be in the path of the next one to come! Being centrally located makes it a less than a a 3-1/2 hour flight to St. Louis. From there, it's either a 2-hour drive or a very short flight to Marion, Illinois, 20 minutes north of the race site.
