I am doing the Lido Key swim this weekend, and it's the first time I'll have a dedicated kayaker. The kayaker is someone arranged by the race director, not someone I know. What is the etiquette here? Should I offer compensation or tip? Anything else I should know?
If you paid extra in the registration for a kayaker, then you have already paid them something.
I always buy my kayaker an event shirt and pay for their pre or post event meal.
