Lake Memphremagog is warming up for Kingdom Swim, various distances, 1 mile to 25k, on July 29, followed shortly by Swim the Kingdom Week, 8 lakes in 8 days, mid-August:

The deadline for registering for any distance of Kingdom Swim is July 1, noon, lake time. If you need a kayaker, that must be arranged by June 15.
This is a fantastic opportunity to do a stretch swim in a lovely and laid-back setting with some smuggling history to it.
