Hi,
Am new to the Bend OR area and am looking for folks who are still doing open water swims in local lakes. Have been advised by a local coach that the open swim season is about over (mid-September, water temps in the low 60's, night time temps drop into the 30's). Have been swimming ocean and bay swims in the SF Bay Area for a while, so am not yet ready to give up open water swimming for the season just yet. Anyone still heading out to local lakes for a swim?
If not for swimming, am looking for someone to kayak along with me while I swim (as I am a golf widow and my significant other spends all free time golfing).
