Anyone ever swim here? I know this is where the tri swim is, so it has been done. How about on your own? Safety, conditions, underwater scenery, other swimmers...? I recently returned from a trip to San Diego and did another swim in La Jolla Cove. Great place. The area reminds me of Lover's Point in PG and we live waaaay closer. Just wondering.
If you're still looking to swim at Lover's Point, you should check out the Kelp Krawlers. They swim there and at Del Monte Beach in Monterey two or three times a week.
