I must not have been paying attention in the past, but the 5K team pursuit (swimswam.com/.../) at World Championships looks fun ... and looks like it would be a cool, team-oriented event to add to USMS Nationals one year.
It does look fun, although I think (without the benefit of having watched or tried it, to be sure) that I might agree with this observation from the comments: "I would think it would end up identifying the best female drafter over 5km rather than the best pursuit team. I think the race would be more interesting separated by sex."
