Great turnout, beautiful people, super positive atmosphere.
Winds 5 to 10 knots out of the west northwest,River current almost opposite. A good chop .
Water was a refreshing 72. Clarity, very good , with a beautiful aqua blue.Weed beds were healthy and clean.
The water tasted great. { 10 years ago it tasted like pennies}
Different Strokes Swim Shop then hosted a lunch with the Detroit Yatch Club afterwards. My wife and I enjoyed a tall ,cold Oberon{Bells beer} out on the veranda of the Yatch Club over looking the River ...WOW , just great.
There was maybe only a dozen of us Mens Masters Mile swimmers....when we were standing in the water , I looked around and said, "this is it, this is all us us?I feel privileged."
